The eager wait for the new Google Cash Detective is almost over, so in the mean time I wanted to review the demo videos of the software to explain what it does.

If you've been in the affiliate marketing business for a while you'll have undoubtedly have heard of the Google Cash eBook that Chris Carpenter released some time ago. The eBook was (and still is) and great guide on how to profit with affiliate programs, but the latest release called Google Cash Detective looks set to be "must have" tool for all affiliate marketers.

What the software can do is analyze Google Adwords on any given keyword. By doing this you will be able to see which ads are profiting, which have fallen away and no longer in use, which ad copy is working well and converting, and which other keywords are being bid on for a particular advertiser. If you don't realize how powerful that is I suggest you read this paragraph again!

Writing ad copy is one of the most difficult parts of affiliate marketing for many people. Google Cash Detective literally blows away any problems you might occur by providing the exact ads that are working for others for you at a click of a few buttons.

When I first about the Google Cash Detective I thought about how big this will be but never quite realized the power of it until I saw the demo videos. Chris goes through the software and explains exactly how it works, but it is pretty amazing to see how simple it is to discover some powerful ads that can literally be copied within a few minutes to start driving traffic to your landing page or affiliate URL.

Let me explain a quick example of what you could do:

1. Fire up Google Cash Detective.

2. Enter the keywords that you might want to target.

3. Let the software return to you the ads that are or aren't performing well for those keywords.

4. Copy the ads that are profitable and run your own Google Adwords campaigns to earn money promoting affiliate programs.

3 Basic Ways to Make Money from Affiliate Programs

As the Internet replaces newspapers, magazines and even the television for how people inform and entertain themselves, affiliate marketing is becoming a hot way for people to make money online.

Converting the traffic on the Internet into cold, hard cash might seem like an impossible venture, but the reality is a lot of people are doing it very successfully. Creating an affiliate business is one of the best ways to go.

Learning how to get "into the game," will take a little time and some understanding of how the different affiliate programs work. Perhaps the most important thing to understand for most website owners is how these programs pay out. There are three main forms of how an affiliate website can make money for its owner. In general, affiliate advertisers pay when:

1. Traffic numbers to your site - While this is not the most common of the payout forms, it is one that some advertisers use. This form of affiliate marketing involves having an advertiser's ad or banner on your site. That advertiser pays you per impression of his banner on your site, not the click through rate to his or her site. So, essentially the more traffic YOU get the more you get paid.

The ads on your site are also promoting the brand of the advertiser. The advertisers pay you to get their brand in front of your visitors. Visitors will click through to the advertisers' site depending on the effectiveness of their ad creative.

2. Pay per click - In this form of affiliate advertising, also known as ppc, an advertiser pays for every person who clicks through from your website to theirs. Special affiliate software or affiliate tracking programs are needed to keep up with the revenue, but when a web site affiliate program is set up right, this can be a real big moneymaker.

3. Direct Sales Commissions. Most affiliate programs will only pay out when traffic goes from your site to theirs and then makes a purchase of something. This form of advertising generally offers a higher payoff, but the conversion rate can be rather low. It's one thing to entice a visitor to check out another site, it's a completely different ball game to convince them to buy a product.

Some affiliate program websites use a combination of the three different payouts to generate a steady flow of income. They do this by choosing a niche and building their website around that niche. Everything from the content to the ads fits the theme.

While the traffic-only payout is generally the easiest to produce revenue from, it doesn't always pay the most. Since this requires no real action on the part of the viewer, this can be a great base stream of money for a site owner.

The pay per click ads can produce very good revenue streams if materials on the website entice visitors to click through or if the ads themselves are interesting enough that people do.

The last form of making money can be the hardest to see returns from, as you need to send a fair amount of traffic to see good returns, but the commissions tend to be a lot higher.

I personally make most of my affiliate commissions from sales rather than pay per click or banner ads.

Making money using affiliate programs is a possibility for anyone with a website. It does take some time and study to master, but the effort is generally well worth it for the rewards.

First if you sign up for an affiliate program, always create a specific web page for that.
If you want to make things simpler, easier and cheaper you can have one main domain and then if you want to add other affiliate programs to your site just add a sub-domain, like for example your main domain name might be:
widgets.com
and then when you want to add an affiliate program you just do the following:
widgets.com/affiliateproduct1
widgets.com/affiliateproduct2
widgets.com/affiliateproduct3
or something like that.
That way you just add the products when ever you need it without spending more money in hosting in domain, well at least in the beginning.
At your main domain you can have a form where people can opt in to your list, that way people not buy the first time, but maybe will later.
Create a mini course of 5 or 7 days, and in every message you can slip in a link to the affiliate program you are promoting.
Now, to get ongoing traffic to your site I recommend you to do two things that works really great, and besides they are free.
A) Write one or two articles per week and submit them to article directories and in the end they will let you put a link to your site.
That way you will be getting visits totally free to your site, and remember the great thing about this is that this process is acummulative, in other words, every article you write builds upon the previous article and so on.
B) Join Traffic Exchange site like InstantBuzz and get referrals, this add´s up and could ending getting you considerable traffic.
This work especially well with Instantbuzz since the traffic generated is pretty good if you use it in combination with a site that have an opt in form on it (also called a squeeze page).
How can you promote it?
Again, if you are searching for a free way...., well you have articles, if not, a good ezine campaign works terrific, but remember if you want to use ezines, I recommend using solo ads as they get the best results.
If you are consistent with your work you will see results, it´s like a snowball effect and once you start it you will not be able to stop it, even if you want to, but, hey, that´s a good thing, right?...
To make this work, you must have a system in place and then the rest will come, a perfect autopilot system.

First, let's do a little recap'. As I stated in the first part of the article, "Make Money Online - The Latest Scam Disclosed", "refund policy scammers" affect the websites that make money online by selling digital products by buying the product and asking for refunds, while keeping the product.

Now I will give you some solutions you can choose from. But, unfortunately, all of them have some bad consequences, aside the good ones. The best piece of advice anyone that makes money online can give you is testing.
First, the obvious solution: get rid of the refund policy. This way you won't have problems with these scammers anymore and you can continue to make money online without them bothering you. The bad thing is that this solution might reduce your conversion rate, but like I said before, test. You might be surprised of the results and see that the conversion rate stays almost, if not the same as you had before. This has happened to others.
Next, I will give you some tips to increase your conversion rate if you decide to go with the no-refund policy and thus help your make money online business.
One thing you can do to help increase the conversion rate, sometimes even more than it was before you got rid of the refund policy, is to place a text just before the order form telling people that you don't have a refund policy because of these scammers and you don't want your product to end up on their hands. This actually worked out great for others and they made had more sales than before.
Another thing, probably the best, is to use trials for both software and e-books. For e-books, just give them few chapters for free and, if they like it, they have to buy it. Some gave away one quarter of the e-book itself, others even one third. This is a great way to build up credibility. But this might work with software, but definitely not with e-books, because they can easily be copied to another text document and, in the end, the scammer still ends up with it. This solution is still debated, because, from what I understood, at the moment, there isn't any software that can't be easily cracked.
